PARIS (Reuters) - Moldova and France will sign defence and economic cooperation accords during a visit by Moldovan President Maia Sandu to Paris on Thursday, the French presidency said in a statement. Western powers are seeking to increase support for Moldova amid what they fear are increasing efforts by Russia to destabilise Moldova. In parallel to Sandu's visit, Western states will hold an audio call hosted by France to discuss increasing support for Ukraine, but also Moldova. To Ukraine's west, fellow former Soviet republic Moldova has a tiny defence budget and has long had tense relations with Moscow. It added that a defence cooperation agreement and a road map for cooperation in the economic field would be signed during the visit.

CHISINAU, Moldova (AP) — Moldovans are casting ballots in nationwide local elections on Sunday as authorities say that Russia has been conducting “hybrid warfare” to undermine the vote in the European Union candidate country. While local elections in Moldova, a country of about 2.5 million people situated between Romania and Ukraine, wouldn't usually garner much international attention, ongoing accusations of Russian meddling add a geopolitical dimension to the vote. On Friday, Moldova’s national intelligence agency published a report alleging that Russia was trying to “influence the electoral process” through the party. Shor was the head of the Russia-friendly Shor Party, which was declared unconstitutional in June by Moldova’s Constitutional Court. “Russia has always been trying to undermine democratic elections in Moldova, particularly in an effort to derail European integration aspirations,” Cantir said.

CHISINAU (Reuters) - Moldova blocked access to the websites of major Russian news media including the Interfax and TASS news agencies on Monday, accusing them of taking part in an information war against the country. Moldova, a small country with a Romanian-speaking majority located between Ukraine and NATO-member Romania, has accused Moscow of trying to overthrow its pro-Western government since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. Russian troops occupy a small, mainly Russian-speaking breakaway region, and Moldova's main opposition parties have long had close ties to Moscow. In a separate decree, Moldova also suspended the licenses of six domestic TV channels. Since June 2022, Moldova has already banned TV stations from broadcasting news and analysis programmes from Russia, allowing broadcasts in Russian of only entertainment shows and movies.

CNN —Moldova has summoned the Russian ambassador in Chisinau after a media report surfaced alleging the embassy installed spying devices on its rooftop, according to the Moldovan foreign ministry. It comes after the Insider media outlet and Moldova’s Jurnal TV reported this week after a joint investigation that 28 satellite dishes and other communication devices had been installed on the Russian embassy’s rooftop and a neighboring residential building used by embassy’s staff. Moscow’s ambassador in Chisinau Oleg Vasnetsov was summoned on Tuesday “to provide clarifications and explanations on the situation,” the ministry said. “Depending on further developments, the Moldovan authorities will consider several options for a response,” it concluded. CNN has contacted the Russian embassy in Chisinau for comment on the spying allegations and the summoning of their ambassador but is yet to hear back.

CHISINAU, Feb 23 (Reuters) - Moldova dismissed an accusation by Russia's defence ministry on Thursday that Ukraine planned to invade the breakaway Moldovan region of Transdniestria after staging a false flag operation, and called for calm. The Russian news agency RIA said Ukraine, which borders Moldova, planned to stage an attack by purportedly Russian forces from Transdniestria as a pretext for the invasion. The Moldovan government issued a statement on the Telegram messaging app saying state authorities "do not confirm" the Russian defence ministry's allegations. "Our institutions cooperate with foreign partners and in the case of threats to the country, the public will be promptly informed." Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said last week it was "obvious" that Ukraine would not be Russia's last stop after invading Ukraine, and that the Kremlin was thinking about ways to "strangle" Moldova.

It is part of a series of anti-Western moves announced by Putin on Tuesday. "The decree is a policy document that implements the concept of Russia's foreign policy," Flenchea told Publika-TV. "Moldova and Russia have a basic political agreement that provides for mutual respect for the territorial integrity of our countries."

Stimați reprezentanți mass-media,Aducem la cunoștința d-voastră, că, joi, 08 aprilie 2021, cu începere de la orele 10.00, la Instituția Publică Liceul Teoretic ”Ion Vatamanu” din orașul Strășeni (str.Mihai Eminescu, 78), Asociația Obștească ”Renașterea Rurală” va veni cu un lot de echipament și utilaj, pentru reducerea riscului de răspândire a virusului SARS-CoV-2 (noul coronavirus). AO ”Renașterea Rurală” este beneficiarul Programului de Granturi Locale al Uniunii Europene și implementează proiectul ”Abilitarea și implicarea cetățenilor din municipiul Strășeni pentru monitorizarea eficienței energetice a clădirilor publice, inclusiv la Liceul Teoretic "Ion Vatamanu" din orașul Strășeni, implementate cu finanțare din partea Uniunii Europene” în municipiul Strășeni, raionul Strășeni. Partenerii proiectului pentru Regiunea de Dezvoltare Centru sunt Asociația pentru Guvernare Eficientă și Responsabilă - AGER și AO ADR „Habitat”Sloganul proiectului este ”Fii schimbarea: cetățeni implicați – comunități durabile” pagina oficială de facebook a proiectului - https://www.facebook.com/Fii-schimbarea-Cetateni-implicati-comunitati-durabile-105523007945998/ ”. Stații automate pentru dezinfectarea mâinilor, cu conexiune la rețelele electice și capacitate de 6l a rezervorului pentru dezinfectant (ceea ce va spori eficacitatea și durabilitatea folosirii acestora), produse în Republica Moldova, cu o garanție de 12 luni – 2 stații;2. Covorașe 60cm x 60cm pentru dezinfectarea încălțămintei la intrarea în instituție (se recomandă a fi folosite în preajma stațiilor de dezinfectare a mâinilor) – 2 unități;3.
